One day trip through local villages where we meet different ethnic minorities. We also experience some local famous products and a boat ride. For those who love to see the real rural area combined with a deep insight in Lao’s minorities people.
Luang Prabang – Ban Annsavan – Ban Suandara – Ban Huay Yen – Ban Suan Luang (Minorities School) – Ban Boum Oh – Ban Kok Ngiew.
Depart 9.00 Am from your hotel, we drive to Ban Phanom, weaving village set aside the Khan river bank and further to the Henri Mouhot Tomb, where the famous explorer of Angkor Wat was buried. We continue to Ban Kok Ngiew (a pineapple village), a village of Khmu ethnic minority, and on to Ban Annsavan settle on the NamKhan river that you can experience the local fishing boat. Then we continue to Ban Suandara where the 2 ethnic groups Khmu and Hmong live together.
We have picnic lunch on NamKhan river bank, then we cruise to some rural villages, see rice fields of Ban Huay Yen and Ban Boum Oh – a village of Khmu tribe, then we continues to Suan Luang village, see the Ethnic Minrities School. Our minivan pick us up and drive back to Luang Prabang.
Trip ends at your hotel or at the town center around 5.00 pm.
