Plain of Jars – Phonsavan 3 days | Tribal Village & Historical Site Experience

Day 1: Luang Prabang – Phonsavan
On the first day we go from Luang Prabang to history-charged Phonesavan, home to countless giant stone jars, the reminders of an ancient and almost unknown culture. On the way we will visit and explore tribe villages to learn more about their customs and their way of life. Over night we stay in Phonsavan.
Day 2: Tour in Phonsavan
We spend the day touring around the city (watch out for bombs of the second war used as construction material) and visiting 3 sites of the mysterious Plain Of Jars. Explore the area, take some unique pictures or support the local Mine-Clearing-Organization if you want to. Also we will go to Muang Khoun, a temple that was destroyed in the second war.
Day 3: Phonsavan – Vang Vieng – Vientiane
On the last day we travel from Phonsavan to Vientiane via Vang Vieng. You can get off the bus in vivid Vang Vieng or go all the way to the Lao capital Vientiane. The road is windy and framed by stunning mountain scenery. We can stop on the way and visit more villages.
Note: For whom visit VangVieng, you may stay in VangVieng at your leisure, then travel to Vientiane by minibus or songtheaw. There are several departure at VangVieng bus station.
